2025 was a defining year for JustGuard.

As cyber threats grew more sophisticated, we scaled our defenses to match: Processing thousands of reports, feeding global partners with verified threat data, and shielding millions of users from phishing, malware, and scams.

Here’s a closer look at the numbers that tell our story.

Global DNS Protection

One of our most impactful contributions to the global internet ecosystem is our data sharing with global DNS partners. By feeding confirmed malicious domains into their blocking lists, we help protect users worldwide from resolving harmful domains.

In 2025 alone, over 10.9 million queries were blocked to domains identified by JustGuard.

Each blocked query represents a potential incident prevented, an individual spared from credential theft or malware infection.

Global Impact

Cybercrime knows no borders. Our threat telemetry shows that malicious campaigns targeted and affected users worldwide.

The United States, Mexico, and Guatemala saw the highest volume of blocked queries this year, underscoring the global reach of the campaigns we mitigate.

Focus on Belgium

While our mission is global, our home country Belgium remains close to our hearts.

In 2025, we blocked thousands of malicious queries originating from Belgian IP space. The activity peaked in April with over 5,000 blocks in a single month.

Targeted Cities Belgium

Our data also allows us to pinpoint where these threats are being intercepted.

Leuven

Leuven, Amay, and Brussels appear prominently in our analysis.

Handling Reports

Our reporting pipeline has provided critical insights into the threat landscape. We processed a total of 12,160 manually submitted reports this year.

Expanding Threat Intelligence

2025 marked a significant expansion of our Threat Intelligence capabilities.

More than 70 million URLs passed through our systems this year (with an all-time total exceeding 108 million).

Looking Ahead

As we move into 2026, we are doubling down on automation, partnerships and expanding our threat intelligence capabilities.

We are also enhancing the use of our in-house data to improve our algorithms and models to better categorize and predict emerging threats before they can cause widespread harm.

Thank You

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the users who reported URLs this year. Your vigilance helps make the internet safer for everyone.

Thank you for trusting JustGuard. Here’s to a safer internet in 2026!
